We were honored to offer water, treats, & love to Alameda's finest and their wonderful caretakers! Check out the pix! Please feel free to download any photos! We caught some serious canine beauty here, with the spotlite on these beautiful creatures full of love & devotion. We heard some heartfelt stories, of people's love of their dogs and of rescues, including Gia, a beautiful two-toned eyed pitbull puppy whose owner paid $20 to get her from some kids who were aiming their BB gun at her. She is so happy now. We also met Junior, the bulldog who wouldn't get out of the pool provided by Lucky's Lounge. Then there was Karma, the pedicured poodle with the shiney manicure, and so many more!

Much thanks to Lucky who worked two full days at the Festival in his nurse and sailor hat (he's got a million costumes) and who sat on his pillow while children and adults adored him and other dogs sniffed him. Also special thanks to his momma Debra K who, with Lucky, provided the dog booth at the fair where dogs could get a drink and just take five.
